Duo-vista + Café (2015)

Duo-vista is a pavilion project behind the National Gallery of Denmark (SMK). The design emphasizes site-specificity, whereby its rectilinear form is inspired by the neoclassic forms of its surrounding buildings (the SMK and the Hirschsprung Collection of Arts), and its materiality adopts the traditional use of bricks in Danish architectures. Moreover, the focus on functionality, simplicity, intricacy, and the play of natural lights inside the building respond to the Scandinavian aesthetic and social values.
